Tape measure and thimble case circa 1870. This is a lovely antique carved nut sewing measuring tape. The pink fabric tape measures in inches. 28” clearly marked. It’s wound back in by turning the little bone peg on the top. The carving around the body of the nut is rather lovely as you can see in the photos. A fantastic antique collectable sewing tape measure and thimble still useable today.
