Heileman’s Beer Can Banks. “Old Style” old beer can with slot at top to create bank. Original, not something someone privately created. Nothing was done to create a bank out of an old beer can here. May need some polishing Don’t see any denting, just some rust and wear on the top. How did I get these, where? Chronologically, I dump picked during the 1940s. Dealt in/with old cars in the 1940s through 1970s. Was a genuine antique picker in the 1960s. Kept buying and selling until around 2000. From diverse sources, a number of old store attics, basements, sheds, and several “hermits”. The cans? Not sure (1980s, early 1990s from Otto who dump picked since the 1940s, and filled 30 sheds with stuff. Not sure but I’m not a collector of beer items, don’t know or care anything much about the hobby or beer collectibles.
