This red banknote features the nation’s coat of arms on the center of its obverse. It also shows two scarlet ibis birds. The reverse of the note reflects the Eric Williams Financial Complex in Port of Spain and the Tringen nitrogen production plant in Point Lisas. The paper bill bears a 1.2 mm-wide windowed security thread with a demetallized CBTT1. It also contains an ibis registration device and a watermark that reveals a scarlet ibis bird, an electrotype TT1, and Cornerstones.
