The crash bung saved me hundreds. Alternator cover is badly scratched but still sound. No damage to the tank, swingarm or exhaust, which would have cost hundreds. Wish I had fitted bar ends and an alternator protector (R&G?). Nothing I could have done about the pillion footrest hanger but that’s not too expensive. Very happy I invested in CRASH MUSHROOMS kit for my bike!If you’re happy to replace the damaged mushrooms, you can see from the photos that the damage is on the front left hand engine one, and a little on the left rear axle protector. It was a fairly low speed lowside over diesel, around 25mph, and the mushrooms did a really good job! All I had to replace was brake levers and an indicator, it would of been much worse if it weren't for the protection.
