Check the listing for details. two cent piece exonumia button (2 cent piece) - Civil War era coin / button. Listed at 19.50 USD. PLEASE NOTE: I ship to USA only. Depending on buyer's location eBay may collect state sales tax. Price is firm. This coin is from a small estate collection. I have no provenance for it. Listed here is a 2-cent piece of unknown date with date-side machined smooth and two holes drilled through it. It was quite possibly used as a button (I recall reading that this was a common practice). There are two little triangles flanking the base to the "2". I'm guessing that they are die marks from holding the coin for drilling the holes and/or smoothing the obverse. ‘Nice piece of exonumia. It would be nice in a collection, as a piece of jewelry, or, even as a button. Please ask any questions you might have prior to bidding. Thank you.
