This note has no bank name, no state name, or complete 1850s date, hence 185... It's definitely old and real. These notes were made as boilerplates, and the Financial Institution would write in the name and date. Signatories would be added. The vignette depicts a horseman roping a cow. Liberty or woman with spear on right and undiscernible woman on lower left. This odd specimen may have been a design for use but never realised for public use. It is fairly ratty but hopefully invaluable.
