This uncirculated 500 Vatu Vanuatu note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu. It is a purple, red, blue, and green polymer note that is dated 2017, bear the signatures of Simeon M. Athy and Gaetan Pikioune, and measures 135 x 65 mm. Its obverse side features a conch shell, a waterway, a Melanesian chief standing and holding a spear, and the map of the Vanuatu islands. Its reverse side shows the map of the Vanuatu islands, boys dancing outside a large building while a kneeling man draws in the sand, and a conch shell. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of a bank logo.
