Check the listing for details. Very fine Very small BEADED BAMILEKE MASK Cameroon Grasslands [Boston Primitive]. Condition: Used. Listed at 300.00 USD. This was purchased at the Brimfield markets from an African trader. Everything this fellow had was old and authentic but expensive. The mask has a carved elongated wooden base coming to a point at the chin. Its hair is made of stuffed burlap-covered balls of some unknown material with a wide part down the middle. The eye surrounds are also stuffed cloth. The cheeks and chin are covered with widely spaced tiny multicolored glass beads and the nose is completely covered with beautiful blue cylindrical glass beads. It shows superb workmanship. Only about 11" tall, it is a gem of an object. I have never seen another Bamileke mask like it. I'm not quite sure how it could be worn. I ship to only U.S. destinations. [Boston Primitive] The photos are an important part of my description. The slightly yellowish pictures do not show true colors; the blue-tinged ones do.
