This product is a rare silver beaker crafted by Swedish silversmith Sven Peter Roding in 1753. The beaker is a unique and valuable piece of Scandinavian silver from the pre-1800 era, showcasing the craftsmanship and quality of silver production during that time. Its age, material, and historical significance make it a prized item for collectors of antique silver items. The beaker weighs 53 grams and measures 3 3/8" high by 3" wide at top. The marks on the bottom are: three crowns, the symbol for Sweden, a deer or goat against a tree, possibly a town mark and the letters PR for Peter Roding and 1753 for the date. This a great addition to 18th century collections. Peter Roding was born in 1705 and died in 1763.
