IT IS MADE OF WHAT MAY BE MAHOGONY WITH PLASTIC COVERING. THE CENTER PIECE SLIDES. IT HAS A PLASTIC CIRCULAR SECTION THAT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN JOINED WITH THE OTHER CIRCULAR DISK AT ONE TIME BUT IS NO LONGER ATTACHED. COMES IN THE DARK BROWN CASE SHOWN. SNAP STILL HOLDS.
