A smart Victorian sterling silver spectacles case hallmarked for Colen Hewer, Birmingham 1894. The case is in good overall condition given its 130+ years and comes complete with associated chain and clip. The front of the case is decorated with leaves and a cartouche bearing the initials JW or GW. The reverse of the case is plain and has a few slight dings commensurate with age. Please see photos for a more detailed description. The piece measures 21cm x 3.5cm including chain and clip and weighs 65g.
