Oval black and gold carved wooden lacquerware trinket box on pedestal. Features 5 bas-relief black elephants in various poses on a 3-1/4” gold band around the middle; gold pattern incised into lid. 8-1/2” tall, 5-1/2” in diameter at widest point. Rounded interior cavity of base is 3-3/4” diameter, 4” deep. Some minor scratches here and there (see photos). Stamped “Made in Viet Nam” on bottom.
