Lamp was originally an oil lantern but previous owner converted it to an electric lantern. Top half of lantern is made of tin, Bottom half of lantern is made of brass. Lantern has a clear glass insert. Metal has scratches, light rust and tarnish. Glass insert is in good condition. Printed on glass is MP; British; 56 ½ x 67. Cord, plug and inline switch are new. Bottom is covered by green felt and unscrews easily to access bulb. Also included is a 1 watt 120 volt flickering light bulb. I will pack item carefully but cannot guarantee condition of bulb when item arrives. Lamp can be displayed on a table or hung by hook attached to top. There is no manufactures name on lantern. Item looks similar to Davis – Kirby Lanterns. Stamped on top is 16. Stamped inside of bottom portion is 16. Measures approximately 10 ½ inches high (not including hook) x 3 3/8 inches in diameter.
