This Vintage Hy-Gain CB Microphone is a classic piece of equipment designed for CB radio communication. This microphone, with its 8 wire connectivity, is compatible with Hy-Gain brand radios. The accompanying instructions and wiring document says this microphone was designed to operate with a MM5799 four bit microprocessor which in turn operated a MC145109 PLL on a Hy-Gain 758080 40 channel CB board. It also includes a wiring diagram and a volume, squelch and selector switch built into the microphone. The wire has been cut at the base of the microphone, but the wires are in place and could be reconnected. It is to be direct wired onto the CB board. This product is untested and would be beneficial to those looking to repair or restore a vintage Hy-Gain CB radio.
