Sharpening rod is 12", overall length with linkage is 19.75". Rod show alot of use. Rod has scratches and stains from normal use. I can picture this sharpening rod in a butcher shop back in the day with a chain attached to a big butcher block table. Stag handle has a crack 1/2" long where the butte plate is, pictures will show. Sharpening rod is tight, no loose parts. This piece would look good in a collection. Sharpening rod is in good used condition. Good Luck, Sweet Piece.
