Check the listing for details. Vintage Plumb 2lb Hewing Axe Head, Very Nice Condition. Condition: Used, Made in United States. Listed at 35.00 USD. Up for sale is a Plumb hewing axe in good condition. The axe is stamped “Genuine Plumb” on the side of the cheek with no other markings. I think this one is a bit newer, dating to the mid 60s to early 70s. Its condition is decent with some light wear to the cutting edge but the heel is crisp with no mushrooming or chips. It measures 6” across with a 4 1/2” cutting edge. The head weighs about 2lbs
