The lid was initially stuck due to old flint that had hardened inside the flint tube. I removed the old flint and reassembled the lighter, and the lid now opens and closes smoothly. I have not added new flint or butane to test functionality or check for leaks, so it is being sold UNTESTED and AS-IS.
