The bottom of the trunk is stamped TES, but I think that this stamp may have been referring to the wood used, and not the actual trunk. The trunk is made of solid, sturdy wood, and has a very weathered look to it, although I am unsure of its age. The trunk has a hinged lid that closes and opens well. There is one board on the bottom of the trunk that has come loose and will need to be reattached. The trunk could be refinished but has a great patina as it is. The trunk is 16.5” tall, 39.75” long, 23.5” wide, and about 14” deep. It is a nice storage trunk that would be great for blankets or general storage and would be a great coffee table. It is a very nice old trunk that would be a nice addition to your home.
