This is a lovely vintage blue/cream spongeware small bean pot. It has a tinware lid which I’m guessing was not original but is the way I bought it many years ago at an antique store. It’s 4” wide at the mouth opening, 5.5” at the bottom, 7” at the widest part including the handle, 6.25” to top of lid.It’s in really very good condition. It has no chips, cracks, flaking or stains. There is over all crazing which you can see in the pictures, accept on the outer part of the handle. There is only one blemish and that’s on the handle and I don’t know what to call it. It kind of looks like a wart but barely noticeable. See picture. There’s crazing inside and what looks like a tight spider web but I don’t believe it’s a hairline as nothing comes thru to the bottom.
