It utilizes Vortexs HD optical System, which utilizes select glass elements for excellent resolution, edge-to-edge sharpness, and high light-transmission while simultaneously reducing chromatic aberrations. The Diamondback HD 2000 offers three ranging modes: Line of Sight, Horizontal Component Distance, and Scan Mode. Line of sight displays the actual distance to the target while horizontal component distance displays the angle compensated distance. Scan mode on the other hand provides a continuous distance readings while panning across a landscape. Other features of the Diamondback HD 2000 includes two target modes. Normal mode provides the targets range with the strongest range result, suitable for most situations.
