Most of the men who gravitated to these DIY projects were new amateurs, so full-sized patterns were the best way for them to go. Patterns that are not full size require quite a bit of effort to size the pattern to the size you need. These patterns were all listed as "trace on wood, saw, assemble. This one is their number 68, and has a copyright date of 1952. The style of the bed is fairly plain, a mid century traditional style that was a fairly big change from earlier years where the styles were much more intricate. This bed would have been used in a child's room, or in a guest room. The pattern is in perfect condition, in a really nice envelope. I only listed it as used, because the envelope is opened.
