I repaired it, kind of. If this is going to be set up and basically never adjusted at that repaired area, it should be fine, just don’t crank it , get it carefully snug and it should hold. I’m basically selling at a price where i’ll be lucky if I may $2, so I hope whoever purchases this can rig this if the repair fails instead of returning, because of the weight, the only one that would benefit is the shipping service
