As a kid, I always looked forward to going to the shop to see the new items that arrived each week. The store was full of items from unique customers, who shared their unique items, often accompanied by beautiful stories.My dad retired years ago and the contents of the shop were packed up and put in the attic. During the pandemic lockdown, I found time to start unpacking these little surprise boxes and was immediately taken back to that small town consignment shop.As I unpack each box, I also release flood of pleasant memories…of friends and neighbors and a of slower time.
