Wireless Universal Remote Adapter for Revox B126, B225, B226 & Studer A725 CD Player Please be aware that I make each remote adapter custom when the order comes in. It could take up to about 10 business days before it ships. This remote adapter plugs into the back of the Revox B126, B225, B226 or Studer A725 and allows it to be controlled from any universal remote programmed for Sony DVD player. You may be saying to yourself, but, the deck has a built-in IR receiver and can be controlled by the Revox B201, B201CD or B205 remotes. The problem I'm trying to solve is the genuine Revox remote is hard to find, expensive and well just plain ugly and hard to use. Another problem is the Revox remotes uses a very old IR protocol which isn't supported by preprogrammed remotes and can't be learned by learning remotes like the Logitech Harmony or Philips Pronto. With this wireless adapter you can control the CD player using any universal remote that can control a Sony DVD which is nearly all of them out there. This unit plugs into the 6-pin DIN Serial Link connector on the back of the CD player and will allow the player to be controlled from any universal remote programmed for Sony DVD. Comes with a high quality universal 4-device remote. The following functions are remote controllable: Power Off, Play/Next, Stop, Pause, Load, < Search, > Search and the 0-9 numbers. Every remote adapter comes with a high quality universal remote. I've been making wireless remote adapters since 2006 with more than 1500 units shipped worldwide. I am an electrical engineer and started making unit for Nakamichi cassette decks for people on the NakTalk email list. Over the years my customers have asked me to make similar units for other models and brands of audio gear. I now make over 15 models of remote adapters for 10 different brands (Aiwa, Akai, Ampex, Crown, Denon, Nakamichi, Otari, Revox, Sony, Studer, Tandberg, Tascam, Teac, Technics and others). I typically sell through eBay, but, low volume models are only sold direct. If you don't see a remote adapter for your equipment ask me, I might have one already. Includes a universal remote, batteries and is preprogrammed to work with the remote receiver. A pair of jumpers inside the remote adapter allows you to select between four different remote codes in case you have a conflict with an existing DVD player or if you want to have up to 4 remote adapters in the same room. Frequently asked questions Can I control more than one deck? Yes, there is a jumper inside for selecting Sony DVD player. Up to four units can be located in the same area and controlled independently. Can I use my own remote? Yes, the wireless adapter responds to Sony VCR codes that are available on every universal remote I have ever used. It is probably the most common device supported. Only 2.6" x 2.6" x 1.1" Receive/Power LED is lit when the unit is getting power and it blinks off when a valid IR command is received Four unique device code settings allow four tape decks to operate in the same room without interaction (requires setting internal jumpers) Works with your existing universal remote (just set it for Sony DVD player) What's included in this auction.
