WW1 Royal Marine Artillery (RMA) Malacca Swagger Stick The RMA were formed in 1804 and separate from the RMLI (Royal Marine Line of Infantry). They were nicked named the “Blue Marines” because of the blue uniforms which differed to the Red of the RMLI, and were amalgamated together in 1923. I believe they are now called 29 Commando Regt Royal Artillery based in Plymouth at the Royal Citadel. This 25.5” long swagger stick is in good used condition with a slight bend commensurate with its age & swaggering! One end is copper tipped and the other has a silver metal pommel decorated with the RMA Regimental badge.
