ROYAL ARTILLERY: Plasti-coat over metal matchbox cover has the R.A. emblem on both sides of the sleeve. UBIQUE QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT is latin for "everywhere... whither right and glory lead". The Royal Regiment of Artillery, commonly referred to as the Royal Artillery and colloquially known as "The Gunners", is the artillery arm of the British Army. "British Made" match sleeve dates to WW2. Still a sturdy sleeve, condition (surface marks and general wear) commensurates with age. NOTE: Matchbox holding matches may not be original.
