The ship was chartered by the British who changed the name to HMS Empire Spearhead. It was an infantry landing ship that participated in Operation Overlord. It later became a US ship with the name changed back to SS Cape Girardeau. Condition is very good, has a few brown spots on front and a slight middle crease. Please see photos for details. These launch programs are relatively rare.
