ARTIFACT: This is an enameled graduation pin in 10 karat gold from Springfield Hospital Training School for Nurses in Massachusetts. The pin is circa 1900, a mere eight years after the school opened with six enrollees. The school closed in 1999. VINTAGE: Circa 1900.
