Listed at 36.95 USD. - Will combine shipping Here is a World War II US Home Front Patriotic Envelope. The Envelope was never used. It does appear to have been collected. It has a canceled stamp along with an Army Censor and APO 824 Stamps. 824 might have been the North African Campaign, the APO located in Iran. It is dated around the correct time, September 1942. It exhorts: Let's Go USA while Uncle Sam Stamps out the Axis Leaders who are portrayed as snakes. It represents a nice piece of early war propaganda. The envelope was never used as the flap is open and retains the glue. The Artwork is striking and comes from an era where we justly were not afraid to vilify our enemies and would only accept only total Victory over our enemies through unconditional surrender. Ironic how things have changed in 80 years. The Envelope is in about good condition and is 80 years old.
