The last time it was tested was before the console was disassembled and it was not reading games however it pulled them in and made noise as if it was reading the games. The board that is coded to the original Xbox has been removed and will require soldering to connect it to the Xbox board found in the original disk drive. The drive has been professionally cleaned however not tested to see if that fixed the issue. There is no guarantee that this product will work as intended however, it may serve useful to a repair shop as spare parts. Message me with any questions!
