Our product is designed to help eliminate green, yellow, brown, and pink algae before using an EPA-registered chlorine shock treatment. Our Yellow & Green Free is simple to use and highly effective. Features: Helps eliminate green, yellow, brown, and pink algae No brushing required Active Ingredient: Acid Dihydrate, Diammonium Sulfate Keep out of reach of children Dosages: Use 2 lbs or 1 container per 15,000 gallons How To Use: Shake the product well to break up any lumps (product may lump in transit). Adjust your pool chemicals to pH 7.8 or higher, Alkalinity 80-120 ppm, Cyanuric Acid 25-75 ppm, and Chlorine 2.0 - 2.5 ppm. Add 2 lbs. of the product per 15,000 gallons of water. Spread half of the product along the perimeter of the pool, starting where the algae is the thickest. Concentrate the rest of the application directly over the problem areas. NEVER ADD more than is recommended. Wait 5 minutes, and then add 2 lbs. of powdered chlorine (or equal) directly to the pool per 15,000 gallons of water. Circulate the pool water with filtration continuously for 24 hours using the main drain if possible. Repeat step 3, by adding additional chlorine after 12 to 24 hours. Return your equipment and chemical balance to normal after your pool is clean.
