Check the listing for details. You'll Hardly Know the New Studebakers Dec. '55 Pop. Science Article. Condition: Used. Listed at 9.00 USD. Original magazine article from a December 1955 issue of Popular Science magazine. Titled: "You'll Hardly Know the New Studebakers." First page info with pictures: New lines, a new engine and a theatrical new bomb are the '56 wares; New nose reminiscent of Italian school marks the Hawk line of low-silhouette five-passenger coupes; New rump gives more luggage space. The Sky Hawk and Presidents get the new 289-inch V-8. Article was written by Frank Rowsome, Jr. There are numerous photos of the new cars and details. Article starts: Practically everyone, it has been morosely noted in South Bend, likes Studebaker in principle. A little company struggling with giants, it has a proud history of engineering quality and innovation. Lately it has offered some of the slinkiest cars ever to turn up in U.S. salesrooms. But this academic approval has not been widely translated into twitches of the check-writing fingers. Article appeared on pages 135 - 136, 137 - 138, and one additional column on 246. Total of three magazine pages with first two having article on both sides. Pages measure 6 3/8" x 9 1/4". They are in good condition, but paper has yellowed. Pages are already 58 years old. I will place pages in plastic sleeve and add a piece of white foam board for mailing by USPS First Class in bubble envelope. I'll mail the same day, or next day after PayPal payment is received.
