The kits guns are not accurate to what the Atlanta carried at any time during her service. Research and reviewing available photos of the real ships have helped these be accurately designed and produced to look just like the 5in Guns that the first 4 Atlanta Class (CL51-54) Cruisers carried during their service in WW2. They are detailed with ladder rungs and simulated hatches along with the periscope that they carried atop the gun housing. If you'd like to make a more accurate model of the Famous Atlanta or maybe even Juneau, both sunk during the Guadalcanal Campaign, pick up a set of these guns to spruce it up! You will receive 8pcs x 5in Replacement Guns and Barrels to fully equip your model, ONLY. Atlanta Model kit is NOT included!
