FIL passed away this past year and we were going through all the tools he had accumulated. With the help of some great people at the website practicalmachinist.com, we identified this box as containing seat cutters for globe valves. Makes sense, since his dad had worked in maintenance in a hospital and most certainly worked on the old boilers. Estimating the tools to be from around the 1920s. Tools are in what appears to be the original box. The piece of yardstick was most likely added at a later time. If interested, I can post additional photos.
