This tool dates between 1920-1930s and was used for drilling and tapping pressurized water pipes to install large scale irrigation systems like the Artillery System developed by White Showers. I have never seen, nor can I find, another example of this tool in any archive. This is a collectible for antique plumbing enthusiasts or collectors of Detroit, MI memorabilia. All the mechanical mechanisms function, bubble level in good shape, includes one original drill/tapping bit. Actual item pictured.
