Hallmarked Birmingham, it features an exquisite Art Nouveau design of hammered sterling and enamel embossed water lilies. The frame sits on an easel back and has an irregular shaped opening. It is unique and sure to catch the eye! The frame measures approximately 6.5 inches by 6 inches and has an opening of 3.75 inches by 4 inches. Hallmarks are shown in photos. Year mark is either 1959 or 1984. It was inconclusive to me, but a helpful eBayer suggested 1984. I have included both marks for your determination. Made by John Bull Ltd, 139a New Bond St. London. A family run business established in May 1953. The company now has three generations working together on a daily basis. The item is antique and sold as is. It may show wear, scratches, dents, tarnish, pits, original imperfections and/or damage from normal use.
