Own a piece of space history!Presented for your consideration: A full-scale replica of the custom-made, NASA-approved, solid brass, hideously expensive (because anything "Aerospace" is hideously expensive!), penlight that every Apollo astronaut carried as part of his equipment. There are exact replicas out there; this is not one of those. Instead of brass, this replica is made of 3D printed plastic (will show visible layer lines) to the exact dimensions of the original, right down to the serial number. The serial number corresponds to the penlight that "Buzz" Aldrin carried to the Moon. This light is functional; twist right to turn on, left to turn off. The front unscrews to replace the (4) LR41 batteries, as shown in the last picture. Don't expect it to be very bright; it's about as bright as a "keychain light." The dollar bill is there to show scale and is not included. The head is 1" diameter, body is 5/8" diameter, length overall is about 5".
