This uncirculated 50 Romanian leu note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the National Bank of Romania in 2009. It is a yellow, green, blue, and orange polymer note that is dated 01 July 2005, bears the signatures of Dr. Mugur Constantin Isarescu and Ionel Nitu, and measures 140 mm x 77 mm. Its obverse side features an edelweiss flower (Leontopodium alpirium), the BNR monogram, an airplane propeller, Aurel Vlaicu, and a head of a mountain eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) in gold OVI. Its reverse side shows a Vlaicu II airplane motor, the BNR monogram, and a head of a mountain eagle (Aquila chrysaetos).
