This is a 5 minute install!I have used mine for 3 years and love it! Look carefully at the images as it will only work correctly on the 1.030" dial as pictured. These pictures are on a South Bend 10K lathe. The graduated dial has a "retaining lip" which limits "inward" movement for easy adjusting. It prevents the graduated dial from slipping "INWARD" as you ZERO it. The inner "index ring" clamps down with an included tension screw. If you have "sight" issues, this is a PLEASURE to work with! It is PLASTIC, or else it would cost a LOT MORE!But it works and feels good.FYI: The graduate ring is SOLID printed so it has a weight similar to aluminum. IMPORTANT: It does prevent the compound from being positioned inline with the cross slide as it would contact the 3" Indicator rings. No big deal for me at ALL! Ever! Thanks for looking!
