A poor quality or degraded seal can casue loss of pressure and leaks which will hinder the performance of the outboard overall. We recommended replacing the seal anytime the VST is required to be opened. This seal is a genuine OEM part manufactured by Suzuki Marine, it is not an aftermarket part.
