This uncirculated 50 Pa'anga Tongan note is a specimen banknote issued by the National Reserve Bank of Tonga. It is a light green and yellow note that is dated 2009 ND, bears the signatures of Siale Ataongo Kaho Lord Tuivakano and Lisiate Aloveita Akolo, and measures 150 x 70 mm. Its obverse side features King George Tupou V and the coat of arms. Its reverse side shows the Royal Palace building and a medallion. Both sides of the note have a diagonal red ‘SPECIMEN’ overprint. Security features include a 2.0-mm red-togreen windowed security thread with demetalized NRBT and a watermark of King George Tupou V, an electrotype NRBT, and cornerstones.
